Alamance Foods

Alamance Foods is one of the original producers of aerosol whipped cream in the United States. With the company founded over 100 years ago, it started by selling butter and churned primarily for the family’s own consumption. In 1959 the company expanded for the second time when it began producing the revolutionary new product, aerosol whipped cream. This success established the Alamance name as a separate company for the production of this exciting new product.

AMPI

Wisconsin Cheese AMPI is a dairy cooperative owned by 4,600 member dairy farms in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The member base produces 5 billion pounds of milk per year. AMPI employs 1,700 people in 13 locations in the Midwest and is among the top 10 largest in terms of milk production. AMPI is also one of the nations largest producers of cheese, butter and instant milk.

AMPI offers Process slices, cheese sauce, Cheddar and shelf-stable pudding to IPAP’s member distributors.

Arla Foods

Wisconsin Cheese Arla Foods was established in 2000 through the merger of the Danish MD Foods and Swedish Arla. Arla Foods, Inc. is a co-op owned by approximately 11,600 milk producers in Denmark and Sweden. In the U.S., Arla imports their European products as well as producing Havarti, Feta, Gouda and Edam in the UnitedStates.

The products offered to IPAP’s member distributors from Arla include Gouda, Edam, Feta, Havarti andEmmenthaler.
