Carr Valley Cheese

Wisconsin Cheese Owned and operated by the Cook Family, Carr Valley Cheese is over 100 years old. Located in central Wisconsin, Carr Valley remains one of Wisconsin’s traditional cheese plants, famous for making cheese the old-fashioned
way. In the past 3 years, Carr Valley has won more than 60 top awards in U.S. and international competitions.

Cedar Valley Cheese

Wisconsin Cheese Cedar Valley Cheese began making cheese in 1947. Owner Ralph Hiller and his son, Bill, were the only employees and worked seven days a week processing milk into cheese. In the 1960s, when interest in their American cheese
waned, they partnered with a smaller local Italian cheese maker to produce Italian cheeses such as Mozzarella and Provolone. Cedar Valley’s established reputation helped in selling the new products. Today, the company manufactures more than 30 million pounds of cheese per year. Owner, Jeff Hiller, the grandson of Ralph Hiller, produce Mozzarella, Provolone and award winning String Cheese.

Cheese Merchants of America

Wisconsin Cheese Cheese Merchants of America has become the choice for leading foodservice distributors, retailers and manufacturers as a supplier of imported and domestic hard cheeses, fresh mozzarella and specialty cheese. Cheese Merchants of America’s packaging equipment enables them to produce grated and shredded cheeses in a wide range of custom formulas and various packaging sizes.


Wisconsin Cheese Churny Company, purchased by Kraft Foods in 1983, is a leader in the specialty cheese business. Their roots go back over 85 years with their brands: Athenos, Maybud, DiGorno and Hoffman’s.

Churny Company offers IPAP’s member distributors a full line of natural, cold pack and process cheeses.
